Science Society

1.The name of the society is “Rimuli College Science Society”. There shall be one Science Society in the College.

2.Aims :

(a) To spread scientific knowledge by means of popular lectures, discussions, and exhibitions.
(b) To invite eminent scientists to deliver lectures.
(c) To organise scientific essay, debate and quiz competitions among the Science students of the College.

3.Membership :

(a) All the student of the Science Faculty shall be members of the Science Society.
(b) Members of the staff may become Associate members

4.The Executive Committee of the Science Society shall consists of :

(i) Principal : President (Ex-officio).
(ii) Vice-President : Nominated by the principal from among the members of the teaching staff.
(iii) Secretary : To be elected from among the students of Science Faculty.
(iv) Assistant Secretary : Any student of +2 1st year and pre-degree classes is eligible to stand for this office.
(v) Class Representatives : One from each of the Science class.

5.Accounts :

(a) The Secretary shall be responsible for maintaining the accounts supported by proper vouchers.
(b) He / she give notice of all meetings whether Executive or General Body in Consultation with the vice-president and record minutes of all meetings.
(c) He / She shall submit the accounts of the Society to the principal through the vice-president.

6.In all matters, the decision of the principal shall be final and binding.
